Black Truffle Oil
Product details
Made from hand-selected black summer truffles sourced from the rolling hills of Molise, Italy, this premium truffle oil brings a bold, earthy sophistication to any dish.
Expect deep, woodsy warmth with a sweet undertone that lingers just long enough to make you reach for the bottle again; a tablespoon or two is all it takes to transform a familiar favourite into something extraordinary. Drizzle it, savour it, and let your guests wonder what your secret is.
Since black truffle oil's flavour can change after exposure to high heat, it is best used as a finishing oil; drizzle it over pasta, risotto, steak, roasted vegetables, eggs, pizza or even popcorn for an instant touch of luxury.
It pairs beautifully with strong-flavoured ingredients such as mushrooms, Parmesan, garlic, and aged balsamic vinegar, and a few drops will elevate soups, sauces, and mashed potatoes into something worth slowing down for.
Mix it into a simple vinaigrette for added depth, or finish a white pizza straight from the oven.
Our exclusive la Truffe collection has been personally curated by the Imperia family and crafted from only the finest truffles. Each product is inspected for quality and freshness before packaging and shipping, so what arrives at your door is truffle oil at its best.
Black vs. White Truffle Oil
Black truffle oil is more robust and earthy, making it ideal for heartier dishes like macaroni and cheese or rich pastas. White truffle oil is brighter and less earthy, better suited to creamy dishes, vinaigrettes, and lighter fare like salmon.
Both work beautifully as finishing oils, and in most recipes one can substitute for the other; simply use a lighter hand if swapping black into a delicate dish.
