The Ossetra pearls are amber-brown to dark gold, oil-bright, with the walnut-rich finish the grade is known for and the Kaluga Hybrid pearls are jade-like and silky, with a creamy, buttery flavour. Ships in thermal protective packaging with up to three weeks of refrigerated shelf life unopened.

Product details

A complete tasting built around Imperia Royal Ossetra. Open the tin, warm the blini, and serve. The set does the rest.

The Ossetra pearls are amber-brown to dark gold, oil-bright, with the walnut-rich finish the grade is known for and the Kaluga Hybrid pearls are jade-like and silky, with a creamy, buttery flavour. Set them on a warm blini with a thin stripe of crème fraîche.

The cream softens the brine. The blini gives a tender, faintly tangy base that stays quiet underneath. Together, the three land the way caviar has been served for generations: clean, balanced, unhurried.

Serving Recommendations

Keep the caviar chilled until serving. Warm the blinis gently in the oven or on a dry pan until soft and pliable. Spoon a thin stripe of crème fraîche onto each blini, then top with a small mound of Royal Ossetra. Use the included mother-of-pearl spoon to handle the caviar, never metal, which can alter the flavor.

How to store caviar - Shelf life - storing caviar

Caviar should be stored in the coldest part of your fridge. Unopened tins can last up to 3 weeks. For your reference, please also check the best by date on the back side of each tin in your order. Once opened, it should be consumed within 2 days.

How to eat caviar - pairing options

Caviar is paired nicely on a room temperature blini with a dollop of cream, adding it as the last step over the top.
